The last section before the basket is called the jib. It is live even at full basket weight capacity. It offers maximum flexibility for a perfect final positioning at the working area. It also can be elevated while driving to allow better clearance of obstacles.
► VIDEO: Jib movement with full basket capacityA standard 3000 PSI air/water line runs from ground to basket through the boom to offer more flexibility and less weight in the basket.
The anti-overload system is designed to prevent operation of a unit with an overloaded basket. An alarm and a red light, both at base and basket, will warn you. This system can be verified by operator during daily inspection.
In case of minor problems or accidents, emergency descent system will get the operator down by doing boom operations, outrigger setup and drive the unit if need be. Units are always equipped with manual pumps to move the oil, but an electric pump is available as an option.
Proportional ground controls allow smooth movements from both ground and basket controls. From the basket, an electric signal is sent down to ground and levers perform movements.
Most of the components used in our units are commonly used in industrial mechanical equipment on the market and are available everywhere in North America.
On top of being safe due to their location on the machine and the fact that no spreader bars are required, top mount lifting points allow you to insert your unit in even harder-to-reach areas and places with a crane.
► VIDEO: unit lifted with craneAll units are equipped standard with GFI double outlet, with cable running through the boom. Perfect to use electric tools up in the basket.
The standard lightweight aluminum detachable basket can be removed in seconds from the unit to allow insertion in tight places, doors, gates, etc. Optional casters can be installed on baskets so they can be transported easily.

Strategically positioned tie-down anchor points in the back and front of your unit will ease your transport on a trailer.
There are multiple outrigger positions since every outrigger is mounted on a swing-out pivot, allowing standard position (wide), narrow position or, for crowded floors, it is possible to mix positions for more flexibility.

The remote provides perspective. Driving and operating outriggers is possible from the quick disconnect remote control allowing better view of obstacles and terrain slopes & layouts. It comes standard with a neck strap for more stability, movement precision and safety.
All units are equipped with 2 standard harness anchor points located inside the aluminum basket. An additional anchor point is located on the fiberglass basket’s floor if the unit is equipped with this basket.
The wind factor needs to be considered at all time when working in heights. Easy Lift units are fully safe under 28 Mph.
Bringing a harmed operator or broken basket control to the ground is always possible from the base using the emergency descent procedure. The electric 12V emergency pump just makes it easier since no manual pumping is required to move the oil and build pressure.

UpEquip has been valuable asset to our business. As an equipment rental company, our 70-36A spider lift was a phenomenal addition to our fleet. Alain was incredibly helpful during the buying process, and we know their service department is a quick phone call away should we need any assistance. Highly recommend!
I purchase a 61-36A machine a couple of years ago. Overall, I’m very happy with the machine and extremely happy with the service I’ve received from UPEquip. The machine suits my needs very well and have had few problems. I have had a few issues with electrical problems.. The AC/DC converter went bad twice but…
I purchased an EasyLift 87-48AJ from Up Equipment in March of 2020. It has done an excellent job for us, more than doubling production on any job requiring a climber. In fact, I no longer employ a climber. If I cannot get the EasyLift close enough to a tree on a prospective job, I simply…
